Job Shadowing at Rockfish Interactive is "Sweet"

Posted by Kenny Tomlin on Wednesday, March 21, 2007 in RFI News

Masha Emets, age 13, job shadowed today with Rockfish Art Director Laine Harper. Masha is one of hundreds of students from Bentonville’s Lincoln Junior High who were launched into the real world for two days. The goal of Job shadowing is to help 8th graders decide what careers they might want to consider in the future. Masha helped select and modify images for an upcoming web site design.  Masha's words below...

"I had fun shadowing at Rockfish. It’s cool to know how much goes into a website from a site map to development. I didn't realize how complicated it is. I like the creative part. Laine showed me what she does every day and it looked fun because it is creative. I want to thank everyone at Rockfish for making my shadowing day fun. The building is pretty sweet too!!"

Full-time jobs are "fun" at Rockfish also.  We're growing rapidly and are always looking for talented Web Developers and Designers to work in our "sweet" building in Bentonville and Fort Smith.  Send us a resume at resumes@rockfishinteractive.com.

In preparation for increased media and pre-grand opening events, Rockfish Interactive will design a new virtual destination for the the Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art and introduce new features and functionality.  The new site will host an Interactive Gallery featuring newly-acquired paintings, rarely divulged details about the artists and a glimpse into the unique journeys and destinations of each painting throughout American history. In addition, a new Blog will serve up exclusive updates on the latest collections, construction timelines and upcoming educational and media events to be hosted at the Massey Building.  Volunteers and docents will also have the opportunity to pre-register for future openings at the Museum.
