A Rockfish Barista?

Posted by Allyson Malone on Monday, December 29, 2008 in Careers / Internships
We are finally settling into our new office space, and as you can see by the photo below, we have an absolutely amazing authentic Silver Joe’s coffee bar (in fact I am sitting in our hip coffee bar blogging right now). One look around the completed coffee bar and we quickly realized that we need to maximize how we utilize that space as well as our new kitchen and open floor plan office. With our new space come endless possibilities for hosting clients, larger meetings, training, and special events in general.

So, we are looking to hire someone who is passionate about cooking and believes in top notch customer service to run our fancy espresso machine (our early morning barista-yes that means getting to Rockfish before 8AM), cook lunch for our employees twice a week (likely Wednesdays and Fridays), and manage the logistics and food and beverages for any of a number of events.

If you are an early riser, love to cook, can be somewhat flexible with your schedule and are interested in a newly created opportunity at a fun, fast paced energetic interactive agency- this is the job for you.

Send an e-mail (and a resume if you’ve got one) to rfijobs [at] rockfishinteractive [dot] com and tell us why you would be great for the job.

Happy Holiday's from Rockfish Interactive

Posted by Kenny Tomlin on Friday, December 19, 2008 in RFI News

At Rockfish Interactive we have so many reasons to celebrate and be thankful.  I know for many companies that 2008 was a very difficult year.  Watching CNBC in the mornings (probably not a great way to start the day) is a reminder to me how fortunate we are to be located in Northwest Arkansas.  Not that our region has been unaffected, but it certainly hasn't been hit near as hard as the rest of the country.

In 2008 we've had the opportunity to work with so many great companies and have delivered some outstanding projects.  Our team has more than doubled in size and every single person has been such a great fit and has worked so hard for Rockfish and our clients.  As a small business owner, one of the most satisfying rewards is building a team that has for lack of a better term "mojo".  It's more than just getting along.  We have deep friendships and share common goals and visions for our future at Rockfish.

For those of you who follow us on our blog, our hope is that you've had a successful 2008 and a happy holiday season!  We look forward to continuing the conversation in 2009!

P.S. - It's not to late to spread some holiday cheer at www.regards.sc.

First Week

Posted by Kenny Tomlin on Friday, December 12, 2008 in RFI News

Wow, what a crazy but exciting week!  We've moved into our new space and have had plumbers, electricians, and deliveries all week.  It will most likely be a couple of weeks or so before we really get this place the way we want it, but so far everything has been really smooth and a tremendous improvement over our previous arrangements.

I'll post pictures of our new space soon.  Also, we'll plan an open house in January and will post the details on this blog soon.

Today our friends from SVI brought us by a nice gift basket and some wine.  Picture below.

Moving Day

Posted by Kenny Tomlin on Friday, December 05, 2008 in RFI News

Today we are finishing packing up and preparing to move into our new office.  We've been divided into two spaces now for about 8 months.  It will be great to get the entire team back together under one roof!

Around 1:oo today our phones and email will be down.  We won't loose any emails, we just won't be able to access them until after we get set back up in the new space.  Most of you have our cell phones.  If you need to reach us, that will probably be the best way.

None of our productions sites will be impacted by this move.  Our phone number will remain the same.

Merry Christmas from Rockfish Interactive!

Posted by Kenny Tomlin on Tuesday, December 02, 2008 in Project Launch

Instead of another corporate Christmas card, Rockfish decided to send our clients and friends something more fun to spread the holiday cheer this season. We’re helping Santa finish his naughty or nice list at regards.sc. This is your chance to tell Santa all about your friends and family. They will receive an email with a link to catch Santa on hidden camera reviewing his naughty or nice list, and they can see just what you told him. Check out regards.sc to view a sample and get started now.
